Pita Sandwich with Cheese Fries

Ingredients

Lemon Tahini Sauce

  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) tahini
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) plain Greek yogurt
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Sandwich

  • 250 g pack of Saputo Halloumi-Style Cheese Fries
  • 8 pita breads
  • 4 falafels
  • 4 kale leaves, minced
  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 sticks of marinated turnip, to taste
  • 8 falafels 
 

Directions

  1. Fry the cheese according to the producer’s instructions. Reserve.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the tahini sauce and reserve.
  3. Cut the avocado and the cucumbers in thin slices.
  4. Spread a bit of sauce on the upper part of each pita bread. Layer the kale, the cucumbers, the Saputo Halloumi-Style Cheese Fries, the turnip sticks and the falafels on top of the sauce.
  5. Fold the sides so that they overlap in the middle and create a wrap. Enjoy!
