Haloumi

A semi-soft unripened cheese that can be traced back to the Mediterranean shores of Cyprus. Its incredibly high melting point makes it perfect for grilling as it does not melt. It is a versatile cheese that is excellent hot or cold, whether pan-seared or grilled on a barbecue, as an appetizer or snack, and even au gratin.

COOKING TIPS

  • Let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  • Cook on low-medium heat 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
  • Serve and enjoy!
