Poke-style bowl of cheese fries with hints of jalapeno

Ingredients

  • 250g package Saputo Hint of Jalapeño Halloumi Cheese Fries
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) white sesame seeds.
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) vegetable oil

  • 320 g (1 ½ cups) sushi rice cooked according to package directions

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) mayonnaise 
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) water
  • 10 ml (2 tsp.) sriracha sauce
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) roasted sesame oil

  • 210 g (1 1/2 cups) frozen edamame, blanched
  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, finely julienned
  • 1 avocado, diced 
  • 10 g (1/4 cup) coriander leaves 
  • Lime wedges, for serving (optional)
     
 

Directions

  1. Cook cheese fries according to package directions, after cooking add sesame seeds, remove from heat and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, water, sriracha sauce and roasted sesame oil until smooth.          
  3. Divide rice among serving bowls. Garnish separately with cheese sticks, vegetables and cilantro. Serve with sauce and lime wedges, if desired.
