Tex-Mex Nachos

Ingredients

  • 300 g tortilla chips
  • 340 g (3 cups) Saputo Tex Mex Shredded cheese
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) diced tomatoes
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) sliced black olives
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

2. Spread half of the tortilla chips on a baking sheet and sprinkle with half the Saputo Tex Mex Shredded cheese. Repeat with the remaining tortilla chips and cheese.

3. Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.

4. When the nachos are taken out of the oven, sprinkle the diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, sliced jalapeño, and fresh cilantro sprigs over them.

5. Serve with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.
