Warm Cheese and Cauliflower Dip


  • 1 small cauliflower (500 g/1 lb), broken into small bunches
  • 250g (2 cups) Saputo Mozzarellissima cheese, shredded
  • 3 ml (1/2 tsp) garlic powder
  • 3 ml (1/2 tsp) ground cumin
  • Ground salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) cilantro, chopped
  • 24 crackers or tortilla chips


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the cauliflower for 8 minutes or until tender. Strain.
  3. Add the hot cauliflower to a food processor with garlic powder and cumin and purée until smooth.
  4. Add half the Saputo Mozzarellissima cheese and mix until completely melted and the preparation is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle the green onions and the rest of the cheese evenly on top.
  6. Cook in the oven for 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. Garnish with cilantro.

Serve hot with crackers, tortilla chips, or crudités.
