All about Romano with

The ancient Romans were very familiar with Romano, also called Pecorino Romano. This white cheese made from sheep’s milk ranges in colour from white to straw yellow. Its rind is dark brown and the cylindrical wheels of cheese are smooth and flat.

This is your typical grated cheese. It is excellent with vegetable soups, spicy sauces and first-course pasta dishes.
