All about Grana Padano with

The Grana Padano name refers to the crumbly texture of this cheese, more commonly known as Parmesan. It comes from the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. Grana Padano is made from non-pasteurised cow’s milk, and it has to age for at least 12 months before going to market.

It adds zest to sauces, salads, all kinds of gratins and pasta dishes.

Similar to the Parmigiano Reggiano and Bella Lodi, Grana Padano cheese is somewhat milder in taste, offering cheese lovers a more subtle flavour

Texture

Crumbly but less so than Parmigiano Reggiano and Bella Lodi. It has a dark, oily, golden yellow rind.
