All about Ricotta with

In Italian, Ricotta means 'cooked twice'. For cheese, this means a white fresh texture with high level of moisture and a low fat content.

May be consumed either cold or hot ; it is the ideal choice for spreads, dips or to compliment fruits or vegetables. Excellent in baked dishes, stuffed pasta or dessert.

Texture

Traditional Ricotta has a slightly crumbly texture, whereas light Ricotta is creamier. Both varieties melt in your mouth.

Varieties

There are two types of Ricotta : Saputo Ricotta made from 100% whole milk and Bari, Stella Ricotta are made from whey. All are available in regular and light version.
