Friulano owes its name to the magnificent Frioul region of Italy. It is a firm cheese that is covered with a natural, light yellow rind. Its mild and fine flavour becomes nuttier with age.  Friulano is an excellent snacking cheese and is also delicious in sandwiches and salads.
